Business Development Manager, medical

I am the global Business Development Manager for the medical sector. In that role, I am responsible for defining and driving Ewellix global medical strategy.
 
We need to know what technologies and products we shall develop. Where can our products and knowledge make a difference and improve a patient’s life? That question drives the plan for existing products and technology. I support the medical sector team, but also the territory sales teams with training, marketing material, capability presentations, and on-site customer meetings with demonstrations of our technologies.
 
The aim is to support our sales teams so that they can easily demonstrate our capabilities and the clinical and strategical value we can provide to customers. This ensures a healthy opportunity funnel to grow our business but also strengthens strategic partnerships with customers.
 
Besides that, I am responsible, to drive our product road map together with product management and product development, to strengthen our position as a leader in smart innovation for actuation and linear motion, in demanding medical applications.
 
Even though we are a company with a long and successful history, we are also a new company that has high agility. It is very demanding, but also very exciting because we have great potential, and every one of us can make a difference every day.
 
Digitalization and connectivity are huge global trends. It is all about improving efficiency and productivity, but also improving the comfort and ergonomics of patients and caregivers. Integration of smart technology into our actuators and columns will be a key driver, along with the modularity of our platforms. We need to look forward and understand what our customers and their customers’ future needs will be and provide the right solutions.
